My husband usually handles night feedings, but last night I did it and the water bath method made the whole process feel almost effortless. The milk came out perfectly warm, not a single hot spot, and the machine was quiet enough that I didn't wake the baby up just by turning it on.
Took about 4 minutes to bring a chilled bottle to that perfect body-temp warmth, and the water bath means no hot spots—my fussy baby actually finishes the whole thing now. The preset button is a nice touch for middle-of-the-night feeds, though I do wish the water level line were a bit more visible.
