Dr. Brown's™ Manual Breast Pump with SoftShape™ Silicone Shield

The SoftShape silicone shield really does mold to fit comfortably, which made pumping way less awkward than my old hard plastic one. Even on the lowest setting it gets a good flow going, and I love that I can use it hands-free-ish while rocking the baby with the other arm.

I was honestly surprised how quiet this pump is — I can use it next to the baby's crib without waking her up. The one-piece silicone shield molds to the breast nicely and the suction feels gentle but effective.

Pumping in the middle of the night used to wake the whole house, but this one is genuinely quiet and the one-piece shield flexes enough that I didn’t get sore. It took a few tries to get the rhythm down by hand, but the suction is strong once you do, and it’s saved me more than once on a road trip.
